The cable bead is close to the computer, not the floppy drive.
If the cable does not fit easily, do not force it.
Make sure you have the correct end of the cable
going to the computer and to the floppy drive.
To remove the cable:
1. Press in and hold the tabs on the side of each cable connector.
2. Pull the cable connectors away from the floppy drive and the
computer.
