This recorder cannot be used during timer
standby. When you want to play back a disc
that is different from the disc to be used for
timer recording, first cancel timer standby.

Press TIMER ON/OFF.
• The TIMER indicator turns off and
timer standby is canceled.

Press POWER.
• The recorder can now be operated.
When Finished Using
the Recorder

Load a disc to be used for timer
recording.
• Once disc identification (loading) is
completed, press TIMER ON/OFF.
The recorder will not enter recording
standby unless disc identification has
been completed.

Press TIMER ON/OFF.
• The power is turned off and the
TIMER indicator lights up to indicate
timer standby.
