Zoom Function
You can zoom the desired part of an image
during DVD playback.

Press ZOOM during playback.

• Each press of ZOOM cycles through
the zoom settings in the following
sequence:
ZOOM 1 ( ×1.2)
ZOOM 3 (
×2.0)
Off
ZOOM 2 ( ×1.5)

While an image is zoomed, press
' / " / \ / | to shift the view and
display the part you want.
The ZOOM indicator changes from white
to red to let you know when you are trying
to perform an illegal shift of view.

Press ZOOM to return to the
normal screen
NOTE
• An image may become distorted when
zoomed.
• You can cancel the zoom operation by
pressing FWD , REV, TITLE, MENU,
SETUP/FUNCTION or ■STOP.
• The zoom operation is cleared automati-
cally whenever you display a DVD screen
that enables you to change the scene by
pressing '
' ' ' '/ " " " " "/ \ \ \ \ \ / | | | | |.
• Subtitle cannot be zoomed.
Changing Image/Audio During Playback
Angle Function
DVD VIDEO
You can change the angle of view when
playing a DVD video disc that contains
scenes recorded from multiple angles.

Press ANGLE during playback.
• mark lights when different
angles are recorded for the title
currently playing.
• Show the number of the current
angle.

• If no angles are recorded on the disc,
xx is displayed.

Press ' / " (or ANGLE) to
change the scene to the next
angle in those recorded.
• About 10 seconds later, the indicator
on the TV will disappear
automatically. (Or press SET/ENTER
to turn off the indicator.)
NOTE
• The operation differs depending on the
discs. Refer to the operation manuals for
your disc.
