Changing the Backlight Time Length

The backlight setting lets you select how long the main
display screen and keypad are backlit after any key press is
made.

To change the main display setting:

Select Menu > Settings > Display > Backlight.

Select Flip open, 30 seconds, 15 seconds, or 8 seconds, and

press .

To change the keypad setting:

Select Menu > Settings > Display > Keypad Light.

Select Flip open, 30 seconds, 15 seconds, 8 seconds, or

Off, and press

To activate the Power Save Mode:

Select Menu > Settings > Display > PowerSave Mode.

Select On or Off, and press

Note:

Long backlight settings affect the battery’s talk and standby
times.
