Installing the Processor
Lever Raised, Unlock the socket
Unlock the socket by pressing the lever
sideways, then lift it up to a vertical
angle.
Position the CPU
Position the CPU above the socket
such that its marked corner matches
the base of the socket lever.
Gently push down on the processor.
Lowering the locking lever
Press it firmly on the socket while you
push down the socket lever to secure
the CPU.
Warning: Do not apply voltage until the heatsink is fully installed. If not, the processor
will overheat and failure will result.
