the modem attempts to
connect. The default
maximum speed is 56K bps.
0 = 56K disabled
1 = 56K enabled with auto-

4 = 36000 bps
5 = 38000 bps
6 = 40000 bps
7 = 42000 bps

auto rate. When 56K auto is
