Playing the first outgoing message
To play back the first outgoing message:
1. Press program , 9 , mode/enter , 1 . The LCD will show:
OGM1
2. Press mode/enter .
Rec./Play?
3. Press play/stop . Your message now will play.
Play OGM1
If you stop to play OGM1 , press play/stop .
4. Press stop to finish the operation and return to normal standby mode.
Recording / Replacing the second outgoing message
Here’s how to record the second outgoing message (OGM2), which warns a caller
your answering machine can’t hold any more messages. (As was true for OGM1,
the procedure is the same whether you’re creating a new message or changing a
previously recorded one.)
1. Press program , 9 , mode/enter , 2 . The LCD will show:
OGM2
2. Press mode/enter .
Rec./Play?
The machine is asking you, “Do you want me to record a new OGM2 or play
back the current OGM2?” Of course, you want to record a new OGM, so
proceed to step 3.
3. Press record .
Rec./PlayStop?
If you decide not to record the OGM2, press play/stop .
4. Press record again. Then begin speaking clearly into the fax’s microphone on
the answering machine keypad. As you record, the LCD will count-down the
time remaining, as described in “Recording / Replacing the first outgoing
message”.
Note: Remember, you have 10 seconds to record your message.
5. If you finish your message in fewer than 10 seconds, press play/stop (only
once) to stop recording. Otherwise, the fax machine will sound a beep and
stop recording automatically at the 10-second mark.
