Install the memory, processor, and heat sink, then reconnect the heat sink
cooling fan to the system board.

Connect the power and data cables.

Install the expansion cards. For more information, see “Installing PCI
expansion cards” on page 40 .

Follow the instructions in “Closing the server case” on page 28 .

Turn on your server.

Press F2 when the Gateway logo screen appears during startup. The BIOS
Setup utility opens.

Check BIOS settings to make sure that they detect the server’s new
hardware, then save your changes (if any) and close the BIOS Setup utility.
