Problems with the S130 Troubleshooting
Ê Press the key to return to the Index Frame.
Ê Select the frame AU4 by entering the frame code AU4 and press the key.
Ê Select the IMPL function by entering 2 (IMPL activates the new setting) and confirm
your input by pressing the key.
Respond to the following prompt with Y and confirm by pressing the key.
Ê After IMPL has terminated (display of the MODE SELECTION frame in the SVPST0 #1
window), execute a IPL of the BS2000/VM2000 (see page 84).
Return the CE key to the position “Maintenance Mode Off“.
8.1.5 Measures to take in the case of defective MCU, SVP, SCI, PCI system
components
When the MCU (Memory Control Unit), SVP, SCI (System Control Interface) or PCI (Power
Control Interface) system component fails, processing cannot be continued with the S130.
If the failure of one of these components causes a complete system failure, you can carry
out the following actions after consultation with the service department:
Ê execute an IMPL (AU4-FRAME)
or
Ê switch off the S130 (AU4-FRAME) and then restart it (control panel, SKP menu).
If the shutdown and subsequent IMPL occur without failures, the IPL can be restarted with
the BS2000/VM2000.
