8.6 Adapter module
The adapter module is located at the front in the base of the house. In addition to the system board
it provides the following functions:

System fan control
•
Device ID
•
Error logging

Details of how you upgrade the main memory of the server, replace the lithium battery or processor
or make certain settings are provided in the Technical Manual of the system board.
Ê Open the server (see " Opening and closing the server ").
Ê Make the desired expansions or settings (see the Technical Manual for the system board).
Ê Close the server again (see " Opening and closing the server ").
