4.13 Calibration (Standard Color Condition Setup)
The printer itself can be adjusted to provide consistent prints. Perform a calibration (standard color
condition setup) whenever the donor is changed, or within one month after the last calibration.
To calibrate (setup standard color conditions), follow the procedure given below:
1 . Press the [ON LINE] key on the operation panel to place
the machine in the OFF LINE mode.
2 . Once the OFF LINE mode is activated, press the [NEXT]
key.
★ The message changes to "Calibration".
■ Creation of the calibration pattern
1 . Press the [SEL] key.
★ The message changes to "Print Reference".
2 . Press the [ ] key.
★ The message changes to "Imaging", and the machine
begins loading the calibration pattern data.
As print processing gets underway following loading of
the calibration pattern, the message changes to
"Processing".
3 . Remove the calibration pattern from the print tray.
★ The message indication will alternate repeatedly between
"Measure Density" and "Cancel".
