9.10.2.4. Velocity curve
Three velocity curves are available so you can choose the one that best matches your
playing style.
• Linear (the default) has an even response across the dynamic range
• Log requires the least amount of speed to play louder notes, but it's harder to
control the dynamics at lower levels
• AntiLog is a mirror image of the Log setting: requires a lot of speed to play louder
notes
9.10.2.5. Aftertouch curve
Four aftertouch curves are provided so you can choose the one that seems the most
responsive to you.
9.10.2.6. Knob Catchup
Knob Catch - Because the knobs are 270-degree encoders, they don't necessarily reflect
their underlying settings. There are three choices for how they behave when sending MIDI.
• Jump means a knob sends the value of its physical position as soon as you move
it, regardless of its parameter. If the parameter is 12, the knob happens to be at
3, and if you move it to 4, the parameter will jump instantly from a value of 12 to
a value of 4.
• Hook waits until you move a knob past its current setting to "catch" (hook) it
before sending anything.
• Scaled increases or decreases the actual parameter regardless of the knob
position. So if the actual value is 12 and you move the knob from 3 to 4, the actual
value will go to 13. Scaled allows you to increment or decrement the knob value.
The drawback is if the knob is at its maximum high or low, you obviously cannot
move it further. In this case, you need to turn the knob, and the value will have to
go either negative or positive first. This is the default mode.
9.10.2.7. Sustain Pedal Function
The Sustain Pedal can be configured to toggle Hold/Chord modes on/off, send a sustain
message or do both.Your choice.
9.10.2.8. Hold Button Function
