4. In the dialog box, enter the public IP address of this MAXCS server. The phones will use this address to
connect to MaxCS. If there is no public IP address, use the private IP address. If there are both private and
public IP addresses, use the public IP address.
5. Click Submit.

The system requests that a certificate be assigned from AltiGen. You should see a confirmation message.

6. The message instructs you to use AltiGen’s Start and Stop all AltiGen Services utility to apply the
certificate. Click OK.
7. In Windows, click Start > MAX Communication Server ACM > Utilities > Start & Stop All AltiGen Services.
Stop all services, and then restart them.
