3.9.2.1 DC Jack
The DC jack enables the docking cradle to be connected to the supplied power adapter.
3.9.2.2 LAN Connector
The RJ-45 connector enables connection to an external network. To connect a LAN cable
with an RJ-45 connector, please follow the instructions below.
Step 1: Align the connectors . Align the RJ-45 connector on the LAN cable with the
RJ-45 connector on the docking cradle. See Figure 3-22.

Step 2: Insert the LAN cable RJ-45 connector . Once aligned, gently insert the LAN
cable RJ-45 connector into the on-board RJ-45 connector. Step 0:
3.9.2.3 RS-232 Serial Port
The ICECARE-07 docking cradle has a male DB-9 connector that provides connection to
an RS-232 serial device. Follow the steps below to connect a serial device to the
ICECARE-07.
