1.1 Overview

The ICECARE-07 is an industrial tablet PC with a 7 inch touchscreen. Featuring the TI
Sitara™ AM3715 CPU and Android 4.1.2 OS, this tablet PC is targeted for field service
applications, such as tracking and locating mobile field workers, capturing, accessing and
updating information in real time.
The ICECARE-07 is integrated with a selection of wireless communication technologies,
including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3.75G. In addition, the built-in GPS antenna provides
access to Location-Based Services, tracking and navigation applications. With the
5-megapixel rear camera, RFID reader and 1D laser/2D imager scan engine, the
ICECARE-07 brings users advanced data collection methods.
An optional 2-megapixel front camera functions as a web camera that allows field workers
to communicate face-to-face with the staffs in the office and other parties while on the
move. To better fulfill the needs of extensive operation time, the ICECARE-07 is equipped
with two hot-swappable battery packs that provide 11.1V 1880mAh capacity.
