Installing HP OfficeJet Pro Partner Software
If you did not install some of the available third-party software
programs when you installed your OfficeJet Pro, follow these
procedures to install them separately.
1 Insert CD-ROM #2 in your computer’s CD-ROM drive.
2 From the task bar, select the Start menu, and then select Run .
3 Enter z:\setup (substitute your CD-ROM drive letter for
the “z”).
The “Install Software” screen appears.
4 Make sure there is a check in the box next to the software product
you want to install, and click
Next> .
NOTE If you are installing Symantec WinFax PRO, be sure to have your
Windows 95/98 installation CD-ROM available.
5 Follow the instructions on the screen.

Installing the Office 97 Utility
If you install Office 97 after installing your HP OfficeJet Pro
software, you must run a special program before you can scan
pictures into these programs. The procedure below explains how to
run the utility.
1 Insert CD-ROM #2 into your CD-ROM drive.
2 From the taskbar, select Windows Explorer .
