5 Select the HP OfficeJet Pro printer, and delete it by selecting
Delete from the File menu.
This step removes the HP OfficeJet Pro 1170C Series software.
6 Restart Windows.
Uninstalling Adobe PhotoDeluxe
1 From the taskbar, select Start , then select Uninstall
PhotoDeluxe 2.0 from the Adobe PhotoDeluxe 2.0 program
folder.
2 Follow the directions on the screen.
Uninstalling Caere OmniPage LE
1 Run OmniPage Limited Edition.
2 Under the Tools menu, select OCR Aware .
3 In the OCR Aware dialog, deselect Enable OCR Aware by
clicking off its checkmark. Then click OK .
4 Restart Windows.
5 Delete the C:\OPLIMIT folder.
Uninstalling Symantec WinFax PRO, Imaging for the
Internet, and Microsoft Internet Explorer
1 From the taskbar, select Start , then select Settings and go to the
Control Panel.
2 Click Add/Remove Programs .
3 Select the program you want to remove, and click the
Add/Remove button.
4 Follow the directions on the screen.
Reinstalling HP OfficeJet Pro Software
Installing HP Components Only
To reinstall only the HP software components (printing and scanning),
follow the directions in Chapter 2, starting on page 2-14. When the
“Insert CD-ROM #2” message is displayed, click
Cancel .
