TIP: When using Spot, frame the subject of the picture in the

center of the focus brackets, then press the Shutter button

halfway down to lock the exposure and focus. Then

recompose the scene as desired and press the Shutter

button all the way down. When this setting is used,

portions of the image may end up over- or under-

exposed.

If the new setting is anything other than the default Center-

Weighted setting, the icon for the setting will appear in the

Live View screen.
The AE Metering setting remains in effect until it is changed

again, or until it resets to the default Center-Weighted setting

when you turn the camera off. To save changed settings, use

My Mode (see page 55).
