Troubleshooting and Support
Unsupported USB
cable
Your camera
dock is
connected to a
printer using the
wrong type of
cable, or the
printer is not a
PictBridge-
certified printer.
Use the USB cable that
came with this camera.
The larger, flat end
connector on the cable
connect to the printer,
usually on the front of the
printer. If your printer does
not have a connector for
this type of USB cable
connection, then it is not a
PictBridge-certified printer,
and it is not a supported
printer with your camera.
The printer must have the
official PictBridge logo
.
Selected print size
is larger than
selected paper
size.
Print size is too
large for the
paper size.
Press the
button on
the camera to return to the
Print Setup screen and
select a print size that
matches the paper size.
Or select a larger paper
size and load larger paper
into the printer.
Paper error.
The paper tray
may be empty or
there may be a
paper jam.
• Examine the paper
tray. If it is empty, refill
it.
• Examine the paper
path for a paper jam. If
you find one, clear it.
