• LP_TOV
LP_TOV is used to keep a Loop from deteriorating due to protocol errors or lost Ordered Sets.
LP_TOV is also used during initialization and to reset the fairness window.
17.5.1 Link Failure
Link Failure is defined when a receiver has continuously detected loss of synchronization for a period of R_T_TOV.
When this occurs, the drive will transmit LIP(F8) on that port.
17.6 Invalid frame delimiter
If an invalid frame delimiter is received for a:
•- FCP_DATA frame, the exchange shall terminate with a CHECK CONDITION status. The resulting Sense data will
have the Sense Key set to Aborted command and the Additional Sense Code set to Data Phase Error.
•- non-FCP_DATA frame, the frame shall be discarded and ignored.
