Manual Selection of Fibre Channel Topology
Under certain configurations, you may want to force the selection of Fibre
Channel topology and disable the auto detect mechanism in the Fibre
Channel adapter. This can be done on a port-by-port basis by using the
following procedure.
Note:
It should not be necessary to change from auto detect of
topology. Firmware version 1.00.03 is the minimum revision
to support this functionality.
The following is an example of how select a manual topology N_Port or
NL_Port on a selected Fibre Channel port.
Select the controller you want to modify, as shown in the following
