7-4 Managing the Camera From the Computer
Setting the Shutter Speed
Most of the time, PhotoPC 550 adjusts the shutter speed
automatically. However, when you take pictures from your
computer, you can adjust the speed manually. This lets you
use special lighting effects and even take “stop-action”
pictures.
On the Camera Controls window, click the arrow and select
the speed you want from the pull-down list.
Adjusting Camera Settings From
Your Computer
You can use Image Expert to change the following camera
settings:
◗ Time
◗ Date
◗ Power down time (Auto Shutoff)
◗ Camera ID
◗ Connection Port
◗ Connection Speed
Follow these steps:
1 Connect the camera to your computer as described in
Chapter 3.
2 Turn on your camera and computer.
3 Start Image Expert as described on page 3-6.
Click to select a
shutter speed.
