Using Batteries
The instructions in the following sections tell you how to
install and handle batteries.
Installing Batteries
Before you install the batteries, make sure the camera is
turned off (the lens cover is closed, see “Turning the Camera
On and Off” on page 2-2). Then follow these steps:
1 Turn the camera upside down with the back facing you.
2 Open the battery cover by sliding it in the direction of
the arrow, as shown below:
