5.10 Connecting External Signal for Battery Feed-In
By connecting a potential-free contact to the Automatic Switch Box, you can start or stop grid feed-in
from the battery. You can connect for example a relay output of a ripple control receiver to the
terminal strip "AS-X7/ Feed in Signal" which receives signals from the network operator.
Requirements:
☐ The cross-section of the insulated conductor is 2.5 mm² maximum.
☐ The potential-free contact is suited for a grid voltage of 230 V.
Connection terminals:
1. Insert the cable (see section 5.2).
2. Connect PE to terminal strip "AS-X7/ Feed in Signal". Take the labeling on the connection
terminals into account.
3. Connect the remaining insulated conductors to connection terminals "In" and "L1" of the terminal
strip "AS-X7/ Feed in Signal".
Approval from the network operator
The responsible network operator must approve feed-in from the battery into the power
distribution grid.

As an example, only the Automatic Switch Box L will be graphically displayed in this section.
The labeling of the connection terminals as well as the procedure for connecting the
Automatic Switch Box M is identical.
