5.9 Connecting the Sunny Backup
Sunny Backup are fused with a C32 A line circuit breaker inside the Automatic Switch Box.
Only connect one Sunny Backup (master) to the Automatic Switch Box M.
Connect all 3 Sunny Backup (master, slave 1 and slave 2) to the Automatic Switch Box L.
Connection terminals:
1. Insert all cables (see section 5.2).
2. Connect master to the terminal strip "AS-X2/ SBU5000":
– Connect PE. Take the labeling on the connection terminals into account.
– Connect N. Take the labeling on the connection terminals into account.
– Connect L to the "L1" connection terminal.
3. Connect slave 1 to the terminal strip "AS-X2/ SBU5000":
– Connect PE. Take the labeling on the connection terminals into account.
– Connect N. Take the labeling on the connection terminals into account.
– Connect L to the "L2" connection terminal.
4. Connect slave 2 to the terminal strip "AS-X2/ SBU5000":
– Connect PE. Take the labeling on the connection terminals into account.
– Connect N. Take the labeling on the connection terminals into account.
– Connect L to the "L3" connection terminal.

The labeling of the connection terminals as well as the procedure for connecting the Automatic
Switch Box M is identical.
