Operation

Setup Mode

(The local salvo names were defined during panel configuration and can only be changed or
removed by reconfiguring the panel.)

Force Release

Press selection button 6, corresponding to ‘Force Release’ to view and change the force release
state for your panel:

Press selection button 1 to enable or disable force release.

A submenu requesting a PIN appears:

Enter your PIN using the keypad. Your PIN is always

. It is not possible to change the PIN.

Press selection button 7 to cancel your entry and return to the ‘Force Release’ submenu.

Press selection button 8 to confirm your PIN and return to the ‘Force Release’ submenu. If you
enter an incorrect PIN, the panel displays a “bad PIN” message.

Setup Mode

Setup mode occurs when the NV9601 is disconnected from its network and is freshly powered
up. In setup mode, you can set or change the panel ID, determine software versions, and
perform a test of the panel’s buttons. It is in setup mode that you must initially set the panel ID.

The panel powers up with 1 button illuminated in green:

It can take 30 seconds for the button to illuminate.

The “ACQ IP” status message remains until you connect the panel to its network.
