Supervisory Screen
The Supervisory screen (Figure 3.8) lets you view and change the Supervisory
port speed. The Supervisory port only supports asynchronous character
formats.

A “Refresh” button is provided on this screen to update the displayed
information. Click on the “Supervisory Services” button at the bottom of the
screen to view service information for the Supervisory interface.
Speed Changes the Supervisory port speed (in bits per second).
Values: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200
Default: 19200
Character Size Selects the number of bits required to make up one asynchronous character.
Values: Five, Six, Seven, Eight
Default: Eight
Diagnostic Messages Enables the Supervisory port to send out diagnostic messages upon power-up.
Values: Enable, Disable
Default: Enable
Parity Sets the parity bit if the port is asynchronous.
Values: None, Odd, Even
Default: None
Stop Bit Selects the number of bits required to end the character.
Values: 1, 2
Default: 1
Current Pin Status
The Current Pin Status, which shows the state of the RS-232 pins, is also
displayed on the Supervisory interface screen.
