Build Circuits
Once the required ports are configured and placed in service, the
circuits are built using the Circuit Build function of the SCM.
Always use the Craft interface of the SCM module, by direct
connection or Telnet, to access the Circuit Build function—instead
of connecting to the Craft interface of the individual modules. This
assures that the SCM remains the central repository of all circuit
routing information.
NOTE: The assumption is made that the ports of the other modules
have been placed in service and configured. Always place
ports in service and configure them before building circuits.
