5 – Using the Mixer Panel

Resetting settings to their default values

If you want to reset all the current settings to their original

values, You can restore the mixer and effect settings to their

factory defaults.

Resetting the mixer

Follow these procedures to reset the mixer and output channel

settings.
1. Click “File (F)” in the toolbar on a Windows PC or click

“TASCAM US-322 US-366 Mixer Panel” in the menu bar on a

Mac to open a pulldown menu.

2. Click “Mixer Reset...” in the pulldown menu.
3. When a warning appears as shown below, click “OK”.

CAUTION

After resetting, you cannot restore the previous settings.

Before clicking “OK”, confirm that you want to reset the

settings.

NOTE

Click “Cancel” to return to the Mixer Panel without resetting.

The mixer and other settings are reset to their default values.
The items reset and their default values are as follows.
“MIXER” page items

Dynamics effect: Off

Dynamics effect assignment: Off

i

Send effect signal position setting (all channels): POST

i

Send level (all channels): 0 (–inf)

i

Solo (all channels): Off

i

Mute (all channels): Off

i

Pan slider (all channels): Center

Fader (all channels): 0 dB

i

Link (all channel pairs): Off

i

Send effect: REVERB ON

i

Send/return levels: 0 (–inf)

Resetting the effects

Follow these procedures to reset all the effects, including the

one currently shown, to their default values.

1. Click “File (F)” in the toolbar on a Windows PC or click

“TASCAM US-322 US-366 Mixer Panel” in the menu bar on a

Mac to open a pulldown menu.

2. Click “Effect Reset...” in the pulldown menu.
3. When a warning appears as shown below, click “OK”.

CAUTION

After resetting, you cannot restore the previous settings.

settings.

NOTE

Click “Cancel” to return to the Mixer Panel without resetting.

The effect settings are reset to their default values.
The items reset are as follows.

COMPRESSOR

THRESHOLD, RATIO, ATTACK, RELEASE, GAIN

NOISE SUPPRESSOR

THRESHOLD, SUPPRESSION, ATTACK, RELEASE

DE-ESSER

FREQUENCY, DEPTH

EXCITER

FREQUENCY, DEPTH

EQ

GAIN and FREQ for all bands (LOW, MID, HIGH) and MID

band Q

REVERB

ROOM TYPE, PRE DELAY, REVERB TIME

NOTE

This does not change the effect on/off status or the

assignment of the dynamics effect. These items are restored

to their defaults by resetting the mixer.
See the “Effect explanations” for the default settings of each

effect.
