Preparing the power
Powering the unit
This unit can be powered by a single AA battery
or a TASCAM PS-P520 AC adapator (sold
separately). Alkaline and nickel metal hydride
batteries can be used with this unit.
Using a battery
Open the battery compartment cover on the
bottom of the unit, and insert a battery correctly
aligned with the + and – indications shown inside
the case. Close the battery case cover.
When the battery charge becomes low, “bAt” and
“Lo” are shown alternately in the parameter value
display area. Change the batteries when you see
this warning.
CAUTION
This device does not recharge batteries. •
The included battery is for confirming the opera- •
tion of the unit. For this reason it might not last
long.
