7–Using the Effects
The DR-2d has built-in effects that can be applied to the input
signal during recording and practice. They can also be applied
to the output signal during playback.
Effects OFF indication
NOTE
During dual recording, effects can only be applied to the
recording of the first file.
Setting the effect
1 Press the MENU key to open the
MENU
screen.
2 Use the wheel to select
EFFECTOR
and press the ENTER/
MARK key.
EFFECT
screen appears.
Although it appears different from other setting screens,
operation is the same.
3 Use the wheel to select the desired item and press the
¯
key or
ENTER/MARK
key to access that item’s
settings.
4 Use the wheel to set the desired value.
5 Press the  key when you are done making the setting
to return to item selection status.
EFFECT:
Use this to turn the effect on or off.
PRESET:
See the Effects Preset List on page 69 for details about the
preset effects.
LEVEL knob:
Use this to change the output level of the preset effect selected
in the
PRESET
item. Select the
LEVEL
knob icon and press the
ENTER/MARK key to select the numerical value in the upper
