■
Observe the manuals for the
indoor unit and outdoor unit
when installing the entire
system.
■
Transport the unit in its original
packaging as close as possible
to the installation location.
This avoids transportation
damage.
■
Check the contents of the
packaging for completeness
and check the unit for visible
transport damage.
Immediately notify the
contractual partner and the
forwarding agent of any
deficiencies.
■
Lift the unit at the corners
and not by the refrigerant or
condensation connections.
■
The refrigerant pipes
(injection and suction pipe),
valves and connections must
be insulated against vapour
diffusion. If necessary, also
insulate the condensate line.
■
Select an installation location
which allows air to freely
flow through the intake and
outlet (see section "Minimum
clearances").
■
Do not install the unit in the
immediate vicinity of devices
which generate intensive
thermal radiation (installation
near sources of thermal
radiation reduces the output of
the unit).
■
Only open the shut-off valves
for the refrigerant pipes after
installation has been fully
completed.
■
Seal off open refrigerant pipes
with suitable caps or adhesive
strips to avoid the infiltration of
moisture and never kink or
compress the refrigerant pipes.
■
Only use the union nuts for the
refrigerant pipes included in
the delivery, and remove them
shortly before connecting the
refrigerant pipes.
■
Establish all electrical
connections connections in
accordance with the relevant
DIN- and VDE standards.
■
Always ensure the electrical
cables are properly connected
to the terminals.
Otherwise there is a risk of fire.
Installation materials
The interior unit is attached to
the wall using a wall bracket
and 4 screws (provided by the
customer). 4 key head screws or
threaded rods are required for
ceiling installation.
Selection of the installation
location
The indoor unit is designed
for horizontal wall installation
underneath windows. However,
it can also be used in the upper
wall area (max. 1.25 m above the
floor). The unit is also designed to
be mounted horizontally on the
ceiling. In this case, condensate
drainage is particularly important.
