Keypad controls and menus
TCP/IP Connections
You will use the TCP/IP Connections option in the Communications menu to 
select whether the TCP/IP status socket is enabled. By default, the status 
socket is enabled. 
Note: If you are using Custom QuickLabel in bidirectional communication 
mode, the TCP/IP status socket must be enabled. 
For more detailed information on the topic of networking, refer to the 
documentation applicable to your network environment and/or contact your 
network administrator. 
To set the TCP/IP connections option:

If the printer is in a Ready state, press the PRINT/PAUSE key to pause 
the printer.

Press the NEXT or PREVIOUS key until the Communications menu is 
displayed. Then press the SELECT key.

Press the NEXT or PREVIOUS key until the TCP/IP Connections menu is 
displayed.

Press the + or – key to change the value.
• One - If you select this option, the TCP/IP status socket will be
disabled.
• Two - If you select this option, the TCP/IP status socket will be
enabled.

Press the SELECT key to confirm the TCP/IP connection option.
