2.2.5 Manual start up on Battery/Reset
Purpose: Describes the Start Up procedure when AC power is not available.
When AC power is not available, the BBS2000 can manually be turned on and function only ON BATTERY. When
utility AC power returns, the BBS2000 will qualify the line for 30 seconds (default) and then resume normal operation in
the ON LINE mode.
This function is available only when the unit is first turned on and the LCD shows STANDBY. Verify that the AC Input
& Output and Battery Circuit Breakers on the BBS2000 are OFF.
START
Verify that the AC input & output
and Battery Circuit Breaker on
the BBS is OFF
The BBS is now supplying AC
power to the Loads.
it will automatically resume
normal operation when utility
AC power is provided.
No further action is required to
deactivate MANUAL ON operation.
Arrow down to MANUAL ON/RESET
and Press ENTER which manually
stars the inverter and supplies
output power from batteries
Place the Manual Bypass Switch
in the BBS position
START UP FINISHED
The LCD display shows STANDBY
Turn ON AC input & output
Circuit Breaker
Turn ON the upstream
Utility input Circuit Breaker
if it is not already ON
Turn ON the Battry Circuit Breaker
Arrow down to CONTROL
submenu and press ENTER
Press ENTER key to activate the
BBS menu
Place the Manual Bypass Switch in
MBS/PTR Assy in BYPASS position
