Installing, connecting and transporting

The washing machine is very heavy.
Lift with caution.
Warning
Frozen hoses may tear/burst.
Do not install the washing machine
in areas where there is a risk of frost
or outdoors.
The washing machine may be
damaged. Do not lift the washing
machine by its projecting parts
(e. g.Ădoor).
In addition to the safety information
listed here, the local water and
electricity supplier may have special
requirements.
If in doubt, have the appliance
connected by a specialist.
Transport, e.g. when
moving
Before transporting the washing
machine
- Turn off the tap.
- Disconnect the washing machine
from the mains.
- Dismantle the supply and drainĆ
age hoses,
- Preparing and inserting
theĂtransport bolts

Having transported the appliance
and ensured proper installation
and connection, allow the
Drain b programme to run
through before starting the first
wash programme.

q Remove the lower covers.
q Prepare the transport bolts:
Loosen the screw in the sleeve
until the end of the screw is level
with the end of the sleeve.
q Insert the transportation proĆ
tection devices and and tighten
the bolts. The lug on the washer
must be located in the groove in
the rear panel of the housing.
