The indicator light is on (red).
i If the Start/Pause M indicator
light is on (red), the programme
can beĂinterrupted, however
the door cannot be opened for
reasons of safety (water level,
temperature orĂspeed too high).
In the display field are indicated
inĂsuccession:

Door cannot be opened".
i If the speed is too high, theĂStart/
Pause M indicator light comes
on (red). The door can be opened
in pause mode as soon as the
drum has stopped.
Childproof lock activated
q Press the Start/Pause M button
and hold down (5 seconds),
childproof lock is deactivated
andĂthe programme can be
interrupted.
i If the Start/Pause M indicator
light flashes (red), the door cannot
be opened for reasons of safety
(water level, temperature or speed
too high).
In the display field are indicated
inĂsuccession:
Pause",
Door cannot be opened".
i If the Start/Pause M indicator
light flashes (red), the washing
can beĂtopped up or removed
prematurely.
In the display field are indicated
inĂsuccession:
Pause",
Door can be opened".
q Open the door.
q Insert/remove washing.
q Close the door.
q Press the Start/Pause M button.
Programme continues.
Childproof lock activated.
The indicator light is on (red).
Cancelling active
programme
If you would like to terminate
aĂprogramme and remove the
washing:
q If the childproof lock is active,
press the Start/Pause M button
andĂhold down (5 seconds).
q Turn the programme selector
toĂDrain b or Spin B.
q If the childproof lock is active,
press the Start/Pause M button
andĂhold down (5 seconds).
q Press the Start/Pause M button.
q Wait until programme ends.
q Open the door.
q Remove the washing.
i If a programme was interrupted
atĂa high temperature,
theĂwashing machine door may
remain locked until the appliance
has cooled down.
i If the programme is terminated
byĂswitching off the appliance,
theĂdoor may remain locked.
After washing
The Start/Pause M indicator light
goes out.
Display field: Remove washing".
q Open the door.
q Turn the programme selector
toĂOff.
Without final spin" selected
Start/Pause M indicator light flashes.
Display field: Drain".
or
q If required, change the spin
speed; see from Page 21.
q Press the Start/Pause M button.
The programme starts.
TheĂprogramme progress is
indicated in the display field.
The indicator light is on.
or
q Turn the programme selector
to Drain b. Start/Pause M
indicator light flashes.
q Press the Start/Pause M button.
The indicator light is on.
