Selecting the touch sensitivity

Press and hold the TOUCH button, then press the d or c VALUE
buttons.

The selected touch curve will be shown in the LCD display.

Touch
= Light

Press the TOUCH button again to return to the standard (Normal)

touch setting.

* The touch setting is global for all of the preset sounds. It is not possible

to specify individual touch settings for each preset sound.

* Any changes made to the Touch settings will remain until the power

is turned off.

Creating a User Touch Curve

1. Entering User Touch Curve creation mode

After selecting a Touch Curve User1 or User2.

Press the REC button.

A message will be shown, prompting for the keyboard to be

played.

2. Creating the User Touch Curve

Play the piano dynamically from very soft to very loud, allowing

the instrument to examine the personal playing technique.

* More than one attempt may be required in order to create an accurate

User Touch Curve.

* Moving the master volume fader to the lowest position before

creating the User Touch Curve may help to reduce user distractions,

thus improving accuracy.

Press the PLAY/STOP button.

The new User Touch Curve will be stored to the ‘User1’ or ‘User2’

touch types, and selected automatically.

* Preferred Touch settings can be stored to a Registration memory for

convenient recall. Please refer to page 34 for more information.

* LIGHT and HEAVY do not represent the physical weight of the keys.

These are settings that affect the sensitivity of the keys, which

determines the volume level in response to the key movement.
