Instructions for Use
Description
Variolink Veneer try-in pastes are water-soluble glycerine pastes. The
try-in pastes enable the simulation of the shade effect of lab-
fabricated composite and ceramic restorations (veneers, inlays,
onlays) that are to be cemented with Variolink Veneer luting
composite. The ideal shade of the luting composite can be determined
with the help of the try-in pastes. Please note that the shade and
translucency of the try-in pastes corresponds to that of the cured (!)
Variolink Veneer luting composite.

– Variolink Veneer Low Value -1
– Variolink Veneer Low Value -2
– Variolink Veneer Low Value -3
Composition
The Variolink Veneer try-in paste contains glycerine, mineral fillers and
dyes.
Indication
Simulation of the shade of the permanent luting composite.
Assessment of the accuracy of fit of the final restoration. Protection
of the etch pattern during try-in, in case etching of the ceramic was
performed in the laboratory.
Contraindication
Do not use if the patient is known to be allergic to any of the
product‘s ingredients.
Side effects
None known to date.
Interactions
Carefully remove any try-in paste residues from the restoration and
the tooth prior to applying the permanent cement. Otherwise, the
bond between the restoration and Variolink Veneer may be
compromised.
