4.3.1 Removal of Handwheel
NOTE: The handwheel is mounted with a set screw
(#13-18) and a key (#13-7). See pictures a and b.

STEP 4
Remove the four M6 screws (#13-9) from the
worm shaft plate (#13-2).
4.3.2 Removal
STEP 1
a WARNING: Potential to operate while danger-
ous mechanical parts are exposed during
subassembly removal. To prevent injury, turn
off all power sources to actuator before remov-
ing side-mounted handwheel assembly.
Power sources may include: main power or
control power.
Drain oil from actuator using the lowest of three
plugs in your application orientation.
NOTE: Oil removal is not necessary if the actuator
is mounted on valve or other device with the drive
sleeve in a vertical position.
