Network and Communication Installation
Configuration Steps
1. Install USB-to-Ethernet adapter driver on computer.
2. Establish a link between the adapter and the display.
3. Turn display on.
4. Launch DisplayFind and discover the display.
5. Once the display is found, click the link to launch the configuration utility.
6. Click Logon to connect to the display (refer to the help file for additional information about
the configuration utility).
7. Configure the displays IP address to:
IP Address: 172.16.192.25
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
8. Click Upload Configuration.
9. Log out of the configuration utility.
10. Turn display off.
11. Configure IP address on USB-to-Ethernet adapter to:
IP Address: 172.16.192.20
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
12. Turn display on.
13. Configure display in Venus 1500 software.

The standard communication options are listed below along with the communication-specific
document numbers. For additional information regarding communication installation, refer to
these documents, which are provided with the communication kits.
