Before executing the following procedure, the NMS server process must not be
running or must have been shutdown by the operator (i.e. Press "Alt+X").
Go to the directory from which the NMS is currently running before running the following
procedure.

Perform the following steps to restore Database backup files from diskette.
Execute the NMS shutdown.
On the server, exit the NMS application.
Copy the backup file ( for example: NMSBAK.ZIP) to
the C:\
Use the DOS "CD" command to change to the C:\
path>\DATABASE directory.
Type PKUNZIP –O NMSBAK.ZIP and press Enter.
The restored database files will overwrite the database files existing on the server.
Type CD .. and press Enter.
Remove the read only attributes by typing ATTRIB –R *.INI and press Enter.
Copy the restored files to the executable directory by typing COPY DATABASE\*.INI and
press Enter.
Restart the NMS server.
