All electrical connections and the installation of this fixture must be in agreement with local codes,
ordinances or the NEC (National Electric Code) or CEC (Canadian Electrical Code).
Do not connect this fixture to an electrical system that does not provide a means for equipment grounding.
GLASS SHADE LEVELING GUIDE
Our Glass Shades are handcrafted, each piece using traditional methods. The personal experience
and artistry of the individual glassmaker is infused into each and every glass. Therefore, natural
variations will occur in the Glass Shade thickness, color, pattern or dimensions. These variations in
thickness will occasionally require adjustments to be made in order for the Glass Shade to supend
level.
Visually inspect the
Glass Shade to determine if
repositioning is necessary.
With the Knurled Nut secured
down, rotate the Glass Shade
so that the slot of the Balance
Cup points to the lowest end of
the Glass Shade.
Slide both the Glass Shade
and the Socket Assembly into
a new position along the slot
in the Balance Cup that will
level the Glass Shade. It may
be necessary to loosen the
Knurled Nut during this step.
Once balancing is complete, if
necessary, retighten the
Knurled Nut.
IMPORTANT:
Keep The
Balance Cup
Position fixed
while rotating
the Glass
Shade.
IMPORTANT:
The Balance
Cup and Glass
Shade must be
moved together.
