Overfeed
Overfeed sets the distance in dots that the supply feeds out past the printer after printing so
labels can be removed more easily. A dot is approximately 0.005 inches. The range is 10 to 200
dots. The default is 65 dots (0.34 inches).
Note: The overfeed distance should match the backfeed distance. Refer to the Packet
Reference manual for more information on using these options.
1. From the Printer Setup menu, select Overfeed.
2. Press D or U to decrease or setting in one-step increments. Hold down the buttons to
decrease or increase in five-step increments.
3. When the setting you need is displayed, press e to save the setting or press X to cancel
without saving changes. You return to the Printer Setup menu.
Backfeed
Backfeed sets the distance in dots to move the supply backwards underneath the printhead
before printing. This moves the print closer to the edge of your supplies. A dot is approximately
0.005 inches. The range is 10 to 200 dots. The default is 65 dots (0.34 inches).
Note: The backfeed distance should match the overfeed distance. Refer to the Packet
Reference manual for more information on using these options.
1. From the Printer Setup menu, select Backfeed.
2. Press D or U to decrease or increase the setting in one-step increments. Hold down the
buttons to decrease or increase in five-step increments.
3. When the setting you need is displayed, press e to save the setting or press X to cancel
without saving changes. You return to the Printer Setup menu. Press E to return to the
Setup menu.
