10.2 DT-Ring+ configuration
10.2.1 Enable/Disable DT-Ring+
Enabling DT-Ring+
SWITCH(config)#dt <1-32>
SWITCH(config-dt-ring-1)#dtring+ enable
Where <1-32> is the domain ID and <1-10> is the port ID
Disable DT-Ring+
SWITCH(config)#dt <1-32>
SWITCH(config-dt-ring-1)#dtring+ disable
Where <1-32> is the domain ID and <1-10> the port ID
Note :
The first step in setting up a new DT-Ring is to create a new DT-Ring domain.
10.2.2 Create/Delete backup ports
In DT-Ring+, we need to set two backup ports to compose the backup redundant rings.
Create a backup port :
SWITCH(config)#dt <1-32>
SWITCH(config-dt-ring-1)#backport add <1,26>
Where <1-32> is the domain ID and <1-10> is the Port ID
Delete a backup port :
SWITCH(config)#dt <1-32>
SWITCH(config-dt-ring-1)#backport delete <1,26>
Where <1-32> is the domain ID and <1-10> the port ID
Note :
Only two backup ports are allowed.
10.2.3 Display the status of DT-Ring+
This command displays the information of backup ports.
SWITCH#show dt <1-32>
Where <1-32> is the domain ID.
