The PSSu system with PROFIBUS interface is a passive PROFIBUS DP
subscriber (Slave). The basic functions of communication with
PROFIBUS DP correspond to EN 50170.
The specifications of the PROFIBUS User Group (PNO) apply for a
PSSu.
The data length of the output data may be a max. of 1536 Bytes because
the memory of the PROFIBUS protocol chips is 1.5 kByte. The max. data
length is calculated as:
 3 x length of the input data
 + 3 x length of the output data
 + 2 x length of the diagnostic data
 + 4 x length of the configuration data
 + 64 Byte
