32-Channel Analog Input Module
Quantum Series 140 AxI 05x 00sc
10
Input Range: Depending on the module that you have purchased,
one of the following input ranges may be selected for each of
the four groups of eight channels:
Range:
-10 to +10 V
[default Voltage or V/I Modules]
1 to +5V
0 to +5V
0 to +10V
4 to 20mA
[default Current Modules]
0 to 20mA
Differential mode: One of the following acquisition modes may
be selected for each of the four groups of eight channels. Differ-
ential mode calculates the difference between two consecutive
channel inputs and provides the data to the register assigned for
the first channel in the pair. When differential mode is enabled,
the second channel’s output will be zero. The data acquisition
between the two channels is not synchronized so common mode
noise on the signal pair may not be fully removed, however DC
offsets should be compensated for correctly.
Note: The channel pairs are not being updated simultaneously, this could lead to an
error in the actual differential value that is calculated. See figure 2.1
