Using a ballpoint pen or similar object, press the recessed button marked
“Service” on the back of the

.LON 1000. This causes the

.LON 1000 to send
a service pin message on the L ON W ORKS network. The LonMaker tool
captures this message and commissions the
i .LON 1000.
Your LonMaker drawing should now look like figure 2.4
