LUBRICATION
SPECIFICATIONS:
(Lubricate once a season or after every 25 hours of
operation.)
Oil—Use SAE 30 or equivalent
Grease—Use automotive multi-purpose grease, ex­
cept in the differential and transmission.
Grease (Transmission and Differential)—Use E.P.
Lithium grease.
NOTES:
When operating in sandy areas, do not oil the
bearings.
Ball joints, idler bearings and tie rod ends require
no lubrication.
Oil all linkage (clutch, deck, etc.) as required.
Transmission (Sealed)
lubricated with 12 oz. of
E.P. Lithium grease
Rear Axle Bearings (3)
OIL
Engine—Remove oil fill plug and add oil until it is
full to point of overflowing or to full mark on
dipstick. Above Freezing Temperature, use oil with
viscosity grade SAE 30 or SAE 10W-30.
Below Freezing Temperature, use oil with viscosi­
ty grade SAE 5W-20, SAE 5W-30 or SAE 10W.
