Steering wheel does not

Link arm not connected to spindle arm
Re-connect. Replace hardware if necessary
Tie rod not connected
Re-connect. Replace hardware if necessary
Steering is rough or loose
Front tires under-inflated
Inflate tires to correct pressure (See pg. 16)
Worn steering bearings at top and/or bottom of steering
shaft
Replace bearings
Loose or worn steering parts such as front wheel
spindles, front wheel bushings, axle pivot bolt, front
axle assembly, tie rod or steering shaft connections
Replace worn parts/tighten loose connections
Unit vibrates or is
excessively noisy
Loose engine mounting bolts
Tighten hardware
Loose engine pulley
Tighten pulley hardware
Mower deck blades out of balance and/or loose.
Balance and/or tighten blades
Worn mower blade spindle bearings
Replace bearings
Units pulls to one side
when driven on level

One front tire is underinflated
