INSERTING THE TWIN NEEDLE

Before inserting the twin needle make
sure YOU are using the general purpose

needle plate and that the needle posi
tion dial is set at

the stitch

width dial is set mid-way (or less).

To if'isert the twin needle, simply raise

needle to highest point, loosen the
needle clamp screw. Remove single
needle and insert the twin needle in Its
place. Tighten needle clamp screw

securely.

THREADING

hor best results, use Ho, 60 mer

cerized cotton thread.
Thread the machine in the same

manner as for single-needle stitching

except:

1, Be sure that threads are separated

by centre tension disc as they pass
around assembly,

2. Carry only one thread through the

last thread guide before the needle.
